Upward Soccer Ministry
Kindergarten - 6th Grade boys and girls!

 

Would your child like equal playing time?  Upward Soccer, a league where every child plays. Every child learns. Every child is a winner.

We’re excited to announce that WUMC offers the Upward soccer program for Kindergarten (age 4 by Sept. 1, 2009) - 6th grade boys & girls.  Upward is an evangelistic sports ministry specifically designed to promote salvation, character, and self-esteem in every child.  Upward provides opportunities for all believers, no matter what denomination, to become meaningfully involved in the ministries the church. You will have the opportunity to pray for the program, coach a team, referee a game, share a devotion, and develop relationships in order to open avenues of ministry to the people of the community participating in the program.  Click here for more information about the Upward Program.

PALS Recreation Ministry

We also offer a recreational program for children with special needs!  The spring session is now over.  Stay tuned for fall dates!  Click here for more information and to register your child!

REGISTRATION INFORMATION:

FALL REGISTRATION IS NOW IN PROGRESS.

  • Early registration: Now Thru August 22, $80 per child.
  • Late registration: August 23 - September 4, $90 per child.
  • Soccer shorts are included in the registration fee.
  • Make checks payable to WUMC.

SOCCER EVALUATION:

Everyone must attend one soccer evaluation.

Evaluations and games will take place at the WUMC Hampton Park Campus soccer field.

Kindergarten (age 4 by 9/1/09) through 6th Grade Boys and Girls:
Saturday, August 22, between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.

LEAGUE SCHEDULE:

Practices begin the week of Monday, August 31.

First Game is on Saturday, September 12.

Awards Celebration is on Thursday, November 12.
