On Friday, March 21, our amazing Woodlake volunteers served lunch to the well-deserving teachers at Falling Creek Elementary School.

Many volunteer opportunities are available at all three elementary schools. We will make gift bags for teachers, bake brownies, put together swag bags for bus drivers, organize classroom volunteers with all kinds of fun activities, among other things!
Backpack Ministry
Woodlake UMC will be supporting 20 students at Bensley Elementary & Falling Creek Elementary School by providing weekend food for students in need starting April 7 for 9 weeks.
Individual sponsors, Small Groups, Bible Study classes, etc. are all invited to team up and spread out the cost (roughly $22-$25 per bag).
Each "backpack" is a 2-gallon plastic bag filled with child-friendly foods. Bags will be dropped off each Wednesday, and a driver will deliver them to the schools.
